Leeward Planning Commission,
I write to solicit your support of Bill 194 coming before Hawaii County Council. While the Planning Director contends
that these extensions are thoughtfully applied it still becomes an issue of transparency to the public and the Council on
the progress of development. The ramifications, though possibly well intentioned, should not be left to a single decision
maker when the interest of the County citizens is at stake.
