Pursuant to Act 220, Session Laws of Hawai’i 2021, which amended the Sunshine Law to allow meetings to be remotely conducted online, effective January 1, 2022, The Game Management Advisory Commission meetings will be held online, and the location listed below is open to the public to attend the meeting in person and provide testimony. Discuss and make a motion to Laupahoehoe Boat Ramp and Seawall Investigation Committee. b. GMAC development and finalization of Draft Rules. c. Letter to Mayor Roth for approval of GMAC’s “Out Doors Day” event. d. Finalize Puuanahulu/Puuwaawaa Rules Change Committee. 6. NEW BUSINESS: a. Fall bird hunting season runs from November 5, 2022, to January 30, 2023. b. Rule changes to lower Puna hunting areas. 8. COMMITTEE REPORTS: a. GMAC Investigatory Committee – Laynet Rule Changes – Chair - Commissioner Robert Duerr b. GMAC – Investigatory Committee – DLNR Rules Changes – Discussion to finalize committee and chairperson. 9. ADJOURNMENT: (4:00 p.m.) Executive Session: The Game Management Advisory Commission anticipates it may convene in one or more executive sessions regarding the above matters listed on the agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 and 92-5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board’s attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to HRS Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive session. Executive session is closed to the public.
