Aloha Commissioners,
Please consider including the following in Bill 194:
Vet developers to ensure they can do what they promise
Prevent quick sales after the re -zoning increases the property value --maybe no sales for a certain number of years
Say "No re -zoning ordinance shall include language that would allow time extensions by entity other than County
Council"
Require a periodic report on progress in fulfilling conditions of re -zoning, from the developer to County Council
Require requests for extensions of time to fulfill conditions to be made before the original time allowed expires
(currently, if you have 5 years to fulfill conditions, you can request more time in year 6, since an extension of time would
give you till year 10)
