EXECUTIVE SESSION (CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC)
The commission will meet in executive session to consider charges against the officers or
employees of the police department, consider the hiring of an employee of the police
department, where matters affecting privacy will be involved; to consider sensitive matters
related to public safety, and may consult with the board's attorney on questions and issues
pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities
pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawaii County Charter Section 13-20 (b).
CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF COMPLAINTS (Briefly summarized)
• HPC 22-46: Complainant alleges officers were unprofessional during a search warrant.
• HPC 22-48: Complainant alleges an officer was aggressive with his words.
