(PL-REZ-2022-000017), TMK: (3) 7-7-008:062 Aloha Leeward Planning Commission, This testimony is in opposition of the rezoning of this Ag5a lot to Ag1. I oppose this application for the following reasons (among others): No Subdivision Signage on Site Attempt to use old Water Allotment Letter (years old) Presence of Endangered Species Avoiding Archeological Surveying Department of Transportation Safety Concerns Avoiding Special Management Area (SMA) Hearing by Planning Commission Language for Zoning Extensions Past Initial Approval The continued subdividing of areas on Hawaii island, especially ones that are in the Special Management Area (this one that is 0.8 miles from shore), only benefit the land "owner" and developer themselves while causing harm and destruction to the areas/ people/ species surrounding it. We should also recognize the lack of respect and the entitlement present by LPH not taking the appropriate steps for the rezoning. Please do what is right and deny this rezoning attempt.
