APPROVAL OF MINUTES • November 3, 2022, regular and executive sessions • November 18, 2022, regular and executive sessions POLICE CHIEF'S REPORT ON DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES Including, but not limited to: • Crime Report • Traffic Report • Personnel Report • Finance • Commendations • Other Department Activities UNFINISHED BUSINESS • Further consideration of the top candidates for Police Chief EXECUTIVE SESSION (CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC) The commission will meet in executive session to consider charges against the officers or employees of the police department, where matters affecting privacy will be involved; to consider sensitive matters related to public safety, and may consult with the board's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawaii County Charter Section 13-20 (b). CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF COMPLAINTS (Briefly summarized) • HPC 22-48: Complainant alleges the officer was aggressive with his words. (continued from 11-18-22) • HPC 22-44: Complainant alleges officers officers failed to file a violation of TRO report. • HPC 22-47: Complainant alleges that officers were unprofessional.
