(REZ 06-000034) <br />Change of Zone from a Single-Family Residential 10,000 square feet (RS-10) to a Neighborhood <br />Commercial 20,000 square feet (CN-20) district for 20,000 square feet of land. The property is <br />located along the west side of Manono Street, approximately 200 feet north of the Kekuanaoa <br />Street – Manono Street intersection, Waiakea House Lots, Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii, Tax <br />Map Key: 2-2-34.13. <br />ALAMEDA:Let’s move on to Agenda Item No. 4, Unfinished Business, Applicant: <br />Hirayama Brothers Electric, Inc. (REZ 06-000034). Staff? <br />HAYASHI:Thank you, Mr. Chair. Just to refresh the Commissioners’ memory, this <br />th <br />particular application was before the Planning Commission on May 5. The applicant’s property <br />is located along Manono Street. It’s indicated by this blue dot.And the applicant’s proposal was <br />to construct a 7,200-square foot one-story building which would be divided into several bays of <br />900 square feet for commercial/retail uses. <br />th <br />The Commission, there was a motion to recommend approval of this application at the May 5 <br />meeting; and the vote was taken. The vote was recorded as four ayes, one no and one abstention. <br />So, at this time, we put it back on the docket for consideration by the Planning Commission.
