John,
The existing fire hyrant off the 16" waterline should be sufficient for the fire flow requirements. Please verify with Fire
Department if ok as well.
Thanks

Aloha Troy,
I just wanted to follow up on our call earlier clarifying the comment letter of December 1,
2020.
The letter states that the existing 8-inch waterline within Hualalai Road is insufficient to
support fire flow.
There is however, an existing fire hydrant served by the larger waterline to the south of the
subject parcel.
It is my understanding that fire flow should not be an issue from this hydrant correct?
Subject of course to Fire Department requirements.
Your confirmation of this would be much appreciated.
Best,
John Pipan
