My daughter has been participating as a gymnast there for the past year <br /> and it has made such a positive impact on her life. It would be a tragedy for the entire community <br /> if this gym was no longer able to operate. Kona Aerials is the only place on this side of the island <br /> that offer gymnastics for our children. Within one month of her participation in the gymnastic class <br /> at Kona Aerials, the benefit this business has on our community was obvious. Hundreds of families <br /> come together several times each week to watch their children grow stronger and more confident. <br /> Relationships among the gymnasts, as well as the parents sitting in the stands, develop. For the <br /> gymnasts, these classes not only allow them to interact with other children outside of school, but <br /> they are taught discipline and team mentality, characteristics that aren't always strengthened in <br /> an academic classroom. Our family also had the opportunity to attend a competition a few months <br /> back. This event brought together programs from all over the state- the stands were full of Hawaii <br /> families- and our Kona gymnasts took many top awards! <br /> >> In this economic period, good help is hard to find. I am impressed with the Kona Aerials staff <br /> and coaches. The coaches are young, energetic and dependable. They are knowledgeable and <br /> skilled.
