Mr. Moore informed <br /> <br /> <br />the committee that he would be able to arrange for someone to come to speak about issues <br /> <br />should a need arise. Pat Moore disbursed brand new emergency preparedness handbooks <br /> <br /> <br />among some other publications and fliers from HELCO. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes of the Meetings of February 24, 2010. Marni Herkes moved and Bob Ward <br /> <br />seconded to approve minutes. Ken Melrose asked if any discussion. There was none. <br />  <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />  <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />  <br />1. KCDP Implementation <br />  <br />Action Committee members each submitted a priority and alternative project from the <br />  <br />adopted Work Plan. <br /> <br /> <br />Ken Melrose’s priority is working with the Planning Department and the County <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Administration to internalize the KCDP policies and implementation actions into <br /> <br /> <br />their operational structures. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Bo Kahui’s priority is the infrastructure to support Keahuolu/Laiopua as first TOD, <br /> <br /> <br />Manawalea and QLT and Kealakehe WWTP. <br /> <br /> <br />Regarding the Kealakehe Waste Water Treatment Plant Bo Kahui noted that <br /> <br /> <br />Laiopua 2020 has supported the County legislation and issued a letter to the federal <br /> <br /> <br />congressional delegation to support the County’s request for funding. Bo Kahui <br /> <br /> <br />suggested that (since this is a priority project from the CDP) a letter from the <br /> <br /> <br />tm; <br />šE <br /> <br />
