When ready, they will be taken to O’oma for outplanting. Pictured here are ‘Ilima, naio, ahuawa, ahuhu, niu, alula and yellow hibiscus. EXHIBIT B RE-ESTABLISHING NATIVE STRAND HABITAT VEGETATION To help mitigate loss of coastal strand vegetation habitat, and stabilize the sand, natives like Naio, Pa’u o Hi’iaka, Hina Hina, Pohuehue, Pu’ukala and other ground covers are being planted around trees.
