WHEA STUDENTS SCHOOL PROJECT
West Hawai’i Explorations (WHEA) Students worked on restoring the native plants West Hawai’i Explorations (WHEA) Students worked on restoring the native plants
along the O’oma Shoreline as part of their curriculum during the 2022-23 shool
year. Students lealrned about the plants and their uses. The work included
clearing brush, digging holes, planting coconut trees and smaller shrubs and
groundcovers, weeding and watering. They shared a report with fellow students.
