Aloha Commissioners : I am concerned about this and all special permit applications when the
applicant has already been operating illegally. Including unpermitted structures and most
importantly NON APPROVED sewage disposal. If we are ever going to stop the pollution of
our groundwater and near shore ocean waters we must begin by making major consequences
for non-compliance. No longer can we let folks operate until one is caught and then say " Oh I
want to be legal now that you caught me". And then treat them as if they are law abiding
property owners.There must be consequences, such as cease and desist until you have legal
sewage disposal. This means NO sewage disposal until the system is permitted, installed and
inspected.
