The meeting shall be automatically recessed for up to thirty (30) minutes to restore communication when audiovisual communication cannot be maintained with all members participating in the meeting and with the in-person location identified in this agenda. The meeting may reconvene when either audiovisual communication is restored, or audio -only communication is established after an unsuccessful attempt to restore audiovisual communication. If it is not possible to reconvene the meeting as provided in this section within thirty (30) minutes after an interruption to communication, the meeting shall be automatically terminated. Approval of Minutes June 8, 2023 4. Communication(s) (None.) 5. Unfinished Business (for discussion and appropriate action) A. Election of Salary Commission Chair and Vice -Chair. (Note: At its meeting held on June 8, 2023, Commissioner Steven Pavao was elected and unanimously approved to serve as Chair. Although he was absent from the meeting, he had expressed an interest in serving in any capacity, to include chairperson, via an email which was circulated to the Commissioners. Commissioner Dawood Farahi was elected and unanimously approved as Vice -Chair. He was absent from the meeting and the Commission was uncertain whether he would be interested in serving in this capacity. This matter was tabled to its next meeting to give Commissioner Farahi an opportunity to express his interest in serving as vice -chair.) B. Creation of Permitted Interaction Groups for Salary Commission Inquiries. (Note: At its meeting held on June 8, 2023, this matter was tabled for further discussion.)
