Please add my voice to the above application. I am a frequent visitor to the Big Island and
Hawaii Eco Retreat(HER). My background is in hospitality and government.
While I certainly cannot advise you about what is best for your community, I hope that my
experience at HER can aid your deliberations. HER has been a sanctuary for me to recharge
and reconnect with what's real in life: love, health, nature and community. HER has proven
itself a safe, contentious organization that merits your consideration for this special use permit
so that it may continue to help others like me.
