May 2020 to June 2022 our lives were on hold as we experienced the fallout of the world pandemic. EAD never stopped working, instead we worked together as one team to serve our seniors. The EAD Emergency Meal Plan was developed to provide homebound seniors with five weekly meals. Essential transportation was provided and most importantly assurance checks were done for the wellbeing of the seniors whose lives were that of seclusion. A BIG MAHALO to the dedicated EAD Staff! The programs were modified as the pandemic tapered off as the fear made a few skeptical to resume life without some safety measures. Those who chose to come back were so happy! Today, we are fully open and operating and there is a feeling of renewal and happiness to get our lives back! 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit The symbol of longevity, peace and prosperity. A YEAR OF HOPE! So grateful WE ARE OPEN! Roann- 1 "Gratitude is the new attitude!" Kupuna News 2 Information and Assistance (808) 961-8777 a = 1 "Gratitude is the new attitude!"
