Chlordane has a biological half-life over 200 years used frequently 1940-50's. Two road intersection location for any garden or planting agriculture project would be very dangerous due to contamination causing severe health risks. 2.Affordable Housing Shortage North Kohala Please designate affordable housing to public and Kohala Hospital medical staff also short term rentals for visiting nursing staff,Phase I CONTRUCTION before medical clinic completed. Currently we have long term affordable rentals in Sakamoto Building for all under$1,000 per month but are rarely available.We have no short term rentals available for hospital visiting nursing staff. 3. Declaration for funding or financial disclosure for such a vast project before special use permits issued. Purchase of property in escrow was delayed due to lack of finances for approx one year 2000-2001.
