Request: To Allow the Operation of a Four (4)-Bedroom Bed and
Breakfast Establishment Within an Existing Dwelling
Tax Map Key: (3) 1-6-050:058 (por.)
We have reviewed the subject request forwarded by your memo dated June 22 and
provide the following:
1 . The subject parcel is in an area designated as Zone X on the Flood Insurance Rate
Map (FIRM) by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Zone X is an
area determined to be outside the 500-year floodplain.
2. All activities shall comply with the requirements of Hawaii County Code, Chapter 10,
Erosion and Sedimentary Control.
3. Construction within the Moho Road right-of-way shall comply with Hawaii County
Code (HCC), Chapter 22, County Streets.
