Members of the public may attend this meeting either in person at the meeting

than 12 noon, Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Anyone wishing to testify orally via
ZOOM must sign up by 12 noon, Wednesday, November 15, 2023, by contacting

The meeting shall be automatically recessed for up to thirty (30) minutes to restore
communication when audiovisual communication cannot be maintained with all
members participating in the meeting and with the in -person location identified in
this agenda. The meeting may reconvene when either audiovisual communication is
restored, or audio -only communication is established after an unsuccessful attempt
to restore audiovisual communication. If it is not possible to reconvene the meeting
as provided in this section within thirty (30) minutes after an interruption to
communication, the meeting shall be automatically terminated.
Public Testimony: The public may provide oral testimony either in -person at the
meeting location or via ZOOM. Pursuant to HRS Section 92-3, interested persons who
want to provide oral testimony may do so either at the time the Board takes public
statements on items on the agenda or at the time the specific agenda item is called.

Metrosideros polymorpha at Reed's Bay by Chenoa Stone.
b. Hawaii County Arborist Position.
6. New Business
a. Review new Exceptional Tree nomination forms.
b. Review Honolulu Arborist Advisory Committee site visit protocols and revise
or adopt for Hawaii County
c. Review current list of exceptional trees and designate committee members to
visit trees that have not been visited in the past 5 years (if on public land).
Determine requirements for visiting trees on private land.
d. Designation of committee chair for January through June
e. Talk about the dead palm trees at the formal entrance to Kailua town on Palani
road and the highway. They need to be removed and replaced.
