The property is thesite of the existing Kona Inn Shopping Village, Kailua <br />Village,Kailua-Kona,Hawaii,TMK:7-5-7:21. <br />ALAMEDA:Let€stakealookatourfirstagendaitemregardingunfinishedbusiness, <br />Kailua Kona Village Development Group, SSV permit 05-001. This is a continuation of a <br />hearingontheapplicationforShorelineSetbackVariancetoallowtheconstructionofanoutdoor <br />seating lanai to the existing restaurant proposed within the 40-foot shoreline setback area. Thank you Mr. Chairman. Good morning Mr. Chairman and <br />members of the Planning Commission. If I could direct your attention to the location map on the <br />board. This is a continued hearing. The area of this application is within the North Kona district <br />of Hawaii, more specifically right in downtown Kailua-Kona. This here running in a north-south <br />direction is Kuakini Highway and just below it running parallel is Alii Drive. The area of the <br />location of this application is identified with a blue dot. This is within the Kona Inn Shopping <br />Village.
