The meeting of the Game Management Advisory Commission will now come to order. It is Wednesday, __(date)___, the time is 6:00 P.M. This meeting is being held at the West Hawaii Civic Center and on Zoom. INTRODUCTIONS Introduction of Commissioners: (Introduce each attending Commissioner & Vice Chair) Commissioner(s) ___(names)____ are excused today. And I am the Chairperson, Abraham Antonio. We have a quorum to hold this meeting. Introduction of staff: Deputy Corporation Counsel Sylvia Wan (attorney for the Commission) Commission Secretary Barbara Kossow We have ___________ in Kona assisting with We also have __(person’s name)___ in Hilo assisting us with the Zoom component. Housekeeping:  Please make sure your cell phones are turned off or on silent mode.  To all of us who are attending here in person, please remember to speak into the microphone when you speak so that your statements can be recorded and transcribed. (If prior meeting canceled) I’ll note that our _(date)_ meeting was cancelled due to a lack of quorum. So all _(no.)_ items in the New Business section are from that agenda, and then we have a couple of unfinished items today. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Review and Approval of the __(prior mtg date)___ Game Management Advisory Commission Minutes. The minutes from the (prior mtg date), meeting have been circulated (emailed on _date_). Are there any corrections? Motion to approve > Second > All those in favor, say aye > Any opposed? The minutes of the (prior mtg date) meeting are approved as submitted/as corrected. 3. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS As is stated in the published agenda, statements from the public regarding any items on this agenda will be taken either now at the beginning, or at the time the particular item is called to order. If there is anyone here who would like to testify, please fill out the sign-up form on the table and give it to our staff and indicate at which time you would like to testify. You will only be called once to submit your testimony. Also, if you have any written testimony that has not been sent in earlier, you may submit it now in person, or via email to the Commission Secretary Barbara Kossow at Barbara.Kossow@hawaiicounty.gov. Testifiers on Zoom, please put your first and last name in the Zoom Chat, along with what area of the island you are from and which Agenda items you would like to testify. Please also indicate if you would like to testify now, at the beginning of the meeting, or when agenda item is called to order. You will be placed in order accordingly. All those that submit verbal testimony today will have 3 minutes to ensure everyone has a chance to speak. If addressing multiple Agenda items, the time will be 3 minutes per agenda item. The Commission will take public testimony after the staff presentation. Staff presentation by Director Maurice Messina. (No Q&A at this time.)
