Subject: Nov 10 BLNR Meeting - Amended Laynet Rule Submittal
Barbara,
Just a heads up that DAR will be presenting the revised laynet rules to the Land Board once again at the next BLNR
meeting on Nov 10. This time though, the rules will be amended to include that the $25 permit fee will be waived for all
state residents and members of the armed forces. You can find the revised rules and rest of our submittal at
https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/F-2.pdf. The specific changes pertaining to the waiving of permit
fees can be found on page 31/93 under §13-75-12.4 Lay net. If anyone would like to provide testimony on this matter,
they can visit the BLNR website https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/meetings/blnr-meetings-2022/ for info on how they can
participate.
