Members of the Environmental Management Commission,
I would like to recommend that Georjean Adams be nominated to continue as chair of
the Environmental Management Commission. In her two years holding this position she has
demonstrated her knowledge on solid waste and wastewater management issues and leads the
commission to advance solutions to address many of our counties struggles in managing waste (i.e.
resources). Georjean is one of the most knowledgeable commissioners on solid waste issues serving
on the Commission, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from participating on the
county's task force that informed the development of the county's current Integrated
Solid Waste Management Plan.
I respectfully ask that Georjean Adams remain as chair for the energy and expertise she brings to the
Commission.
