OPPOSITION TO BLACK SAND BEACH LLC.
Aloha Members of the Windward Planning Commision,
I am writing this letter in OPPOSITION to the planned development of Punalu'u.
My name is Ikaika Grace and I was born and raised in Ka'u. We grew up living off
of Punalu'u Beach, swimming in the ocean and fishing for our family to eat. I
don't want to see the land changed by development, and the local people not
being able to go to the beach. It would be sad if the next generation of keiki
cannot enjoy the beach and learn how to live off food from the ocean.
