individuals from all 50 states, Guam, American Samoa, and Puerto Rico.
The three day conference theme “Creating an Inclusive Culture”, how
to create access and equity across health disparity barriers. Income,
ethnicity, education, age, and gender are health disparity preventable

“Equal Access and Equity”, will be the focal foundation for all value-

Also, it can be dropped off at the senior center sites, and they will bring it in to
our office. In addition, they can call us, and we can make arrangements to
pick them up and forward all to the State. There are many that do not have
access to a computer or know how to use a computer to complete the survey
online. Those individuals are encouraged to complete a paper survey.
Focus on affordable housing: There was a presentation from an affordable
kupuna housing project in Manoa that is trying to build and it’s getting lots of
push back from the community. It is a really great affordable rental
opportunity for kupuna. Horace mentioned the part that makes it affordable is
all of the infrastructure – road, sewer, water – is already there. This is a major
cost savings for the developer.
