Subject: I stand with the Hawaii community

Aloha,
I strongly stand AGAINST any development of the Ka`u coastline. Any development of this
area should be community led. It is important to leave some areas of Hawai'i untouched or you
risk losing the entire essence of what makes this place so special to so many people. An EIS
would be the bare minimum to even discuss further development, but without the community's
involvement, it will not move forward. Let's move forward in a different way and provide a model
for future developers to understand how they should operate within Hawai'i.
