Aloha,
I ask you to please consider one of the few nesting beaches of the Hawsbill turtles.
Punalu'u is a viable fishing area for local families in Ka'u as well as families around the Island.
Take into consideration earthquakes, flooding and fires that may obstruct traffic on the only
highway that serves ALL of Ka'u. Road closures are a frequent occurrence that hinders
everyone traveling the highway.
Punalu'u is the gem of Ka'u, families utilize Punalu'u for birthdays,weddings, celebrations of
life, camping and fishing.
