To whom it may concern,
I am writing to ask that decision makers please choose the needs of the land, endangered
animals -particularly the sea turtles, and the wishes of the people speaking on their behalf
over development at Punalu'u.
For far too long the power of$$ has taken precedence over the needs of the land and the
people speaking up for the land have been dismissed.
This cannot be the way forward anymore. The wishes and traditional beliefs of indigenous
people need to be respected and prioritized over tourist and developer dollars or there will be
nothing left.
We keep being asked the same questions over and over and that will continue until we make
better choices.
