Subject: Request to Postpone the Planning Commission Hearing for Special Permit
Application (PL-SPP-2024-000062)
Applicant: Tirtha Luitel
Honomu, South Hilo District, Hawaii TMK(3) 2-8-010: 014 (por.)
The subject Special Permit application is currently scheduled to be heard before the Windward Planning
Commission on April 4, 2024. We would like to request to defer this application to the May 2, 2024
agenda in order to allow additional time to address the Deputy Director's concerns as well as to allow
additional time to receive a formal response from the Department of Land and Natural Resources.
We trust that everything is in order for your acceptance and processing of this request. If not, or if there
