Ms. De Franco, Sue Aronson and I are writing to Support the application of Noel and Cobey
Ackerman to develop an area on their ranch that can be used by community members for
celebrations and special events such as weddings, graduations, birthday celebrations and
even celebrations of life. We view this as an innovative use of their land that is now fallow, and
it will provide a venue that is missing in the I<ona and South I<ona area. Local families often
can't afford or want to have their special event at a hotel, and this venue would certainly help
to fill that void. We respectfully ask for your approval of the application.
