Aloha,
Please know that there are many Kona residents who would like unhosted short term rentals(STRs)to be banned
outside of hotel areas.We hope you stay strong and pass SBs 121-123.They will open up our neighborhoods to
actual community members and not tourists.Not only that,but removing STRs from neighborhoods would open up
housing opportunities to a lot of us who live here.I know of 2-4 houses near me that sit empty all year or get rented
out every week.I for one would like to live in a community, not a hotel area.
