Greetings Commissioners,
We have operated a short-term rental for the last twenty years down in Milloli'i Beach Lots and have never created
or experienced any problems whatsoever in terms of parking,using rental space that could become a normal rental
etc.We are just too far away from everything in the island to cause any issues for our neighbors.We cannot keep
our property unless we rent it short term in order to pay the mortgage.Passing the legislation as it will force us to
sell to someone with much deeper pockets than ourselves.My wife and I both work and this house is our retirement!
We worked really hard to build here and maintain the house and have injected a lot of money into the local South
Kona economy and have done everything Hawaii County has asked of us.Please don't force us to see the house to
just another wealthy Mainland owner.
