Aloha my name is Linda Halbritter. I oppose Bill 121 . 1 am a kupuna who has lived in
Hawi for 45 years with my husband of 58 years. My husband is a disabled retired
police officer. Our TAR is our main income. I can't understand WHY you would want
to put us out of business. We have 3 empolyee's who need jobs. We pay all our
taxes which is lots of money, which goes to the county. Our guest love staying here
interacting with us and our community. They spend their money in our little town of
Hawi, at the restaurants, art galleries and tourist activities. Our helpers spend their
money here also. If you pass this Bill 121 all that would be gone. We use this
income to pay our mortgage, lots of doctor bills, medical insurance, etc. If this Bill 121
passes we would lose our business. And possibly our home. Not to mention our
helpers would be out of a job and most likely have to go on welfare.
Please DO NOT PASS THIS BILL 121..
