We spend a lot of time at our home,and we <br /> bought it because we plan to retire here when my husband stops working in a few years. However,the property <br /> taxes keep going up,it is a large home, and we have to do some vacation rentals in order to keep this house. Every <br /> time this is amended,it seems like you are siding with the hotels and trying to shut down legitimate licensed,tax <br /> paying owners who are following all of the rules. My home is not a home that would ever be used as a long term <br /> rental. <br /> There are a few items that I am wondering about: <br /> Complaints-how will you be able to verify that a complaint is legitimate and not just a grumpy person calling in for <br /> no legitimate reason? <br /> Section 25-4-17.2 Reporting: Hosting Platforms <br /> This section puts a huge burden on VRBO and hosting platforms. Is there any indication that they are going to be <br /> able to provide you with this monthly reporting? Is it just a ploy by the hotel industry to wipe out STVRs? <br /> I urge you to stop these obvious pushes by the hotel industry to shut down alternate accommodations. <br /> Thank you, <br /> Mary G.Morris <br />
