Aloha Mai,
I am against the development of Punalu`u and I am appalled at the lack of consideration of the
residence of Ka`u and the entire Island. The lack of an enviromental impact review. I recently
sold a home that was on the coast up from Punalu`u on conservation land. The amount of
enviromental impacts that has to be done to even build a home and channels to go through is
extensive. Have you thought about the lights that would impact the turtles nesting? Ka'u is full
of sacred places and burials. This is to Big and to fast. You must pump the brakes! For the
people of Hawaii and the Big Island.
