They are over-built disgusting reminders of the devastating impact of <br /> colonialism &what disregard of culture looks like. <br /> They are the antithesis of what travel should be: mindful learning to expand our world view& <br /> build community. <br /> We do not need more over- consumption & capitalism. You will gain more respectful travelers <br /> who honor the lands & the people if you give the land back& pause so Mother Earth can <br /> breathe. <br /> The people need to breathe. <br /> If these development projects go through,you will be DESTROYING much more that you <br /> claim to be "developing". <br /> Laura <br />
