Hi there, I am writing to request a reconsideration of plans to develop Ka'u in a business-as-
usual way. Local communities and people who traditionally stewarded the land should be
consulted. Indigenous Knowledge Systems Lab, based in Australia, has wonderful ideas about
working with indigenous and rural communities, land, wild and natural spaces, and local
governments. Could the org be an interesting advisor on this project?
