I am a resident of Hawai'i island and am opposed to the Shoreline Management Area/SMA
permit extension for Black Sands Beach LLC at Punalu'u. I hope you will consider my
position and vote accordingly.
The past two years have seen a rapid deterioration of this beautiful island due to an overly
high influx of tourists who have no sense of aloha `aina nor do they malama `aina. We don't
want to become another `Oahu or Maui.
Please listen to your constituents and oppose this proposed development at Punalu'u.
