Aloha,
I believe that Ka'u should stay Ka'u&Punalu'u and surrounding areas should be kept sacred.I don't believe what
the island needs is more resorts and spaces that take away from the truth and reality of what Hawai'i is and what
makes it so wonderful.There is already so much hotels and resorts and other things as it is.I believe the land and
area down there is sacred and it is doing a disservice to Hawai'i to build another resort.There is plenty kanaka that
need housing.There is many people who deserve to stay and live on the land of their families before people from all
over need to stay and play golf here in their little bubble.It is one of my favorite places on the island and I would be
truly saddened to see anything happen to it or change.House Hawaiian people and let them come home but do not
build a resort or place that is not Hawai'i.The beaches have very key elements to the ecosystems of the island and
the waters.It is to sacred.There is no need for build or to destroy it.
Please consider the people and aina and Hawai'i before going forward.Please keep Ka'u sacred.
