Ikaika loa ke an ma ke kahakai one`ele`ele`o Punalu`u.
The current is very strong at Punalu`u Black Sands Beach.
And so are the resilient folks of Punalu`u,Moku o Keawe. All along the coastlines and up to the mountains stewardship was once was an
integral part of the Hawaiian community.Once abolished investors and opportuinists became the norm.Communities once again are
taking back the lands that should be in trust for the people. We are now creating critical mass and are establishing the trend of`huli'
where the people's heart is the word.We are stewards in a lei of change because our worth lies in our histories. Our stories are
intertwined with the love and care for these wahi pana.
Please deny the Shoreline
Management Area/SMA permit extension for Black Sands Beach LLC at Punalu'u.
Mahalo, from someone who has visited the black and olivine beaches of Moku o Keawe since small kid time.
