I believe that the plan that they <br /> have is not invasive on our aina. I see in there plans that they are not touching areas that <br /> weren't touched already, and this is something I appreciate. I know the planning <br /> department has there specifics that will have to be done as well and I am so thankful <br /> that Mr. Kern is really taking this seriously on the specifics that need to be completed. I <br /> have talked to a Kupuna in Ka'u that really has helped me understand what Black Sands <br /> Beach LLC will be doing and what they would like to accomplish with the shoreline <br /> management plan and also how they are willing to work with the people of Ka'u. This <br /> makes my heart so happy. I have also been made aware that we already have a local girl <br /> that is a part of their team as their Property Manager, and I must say she is doing an <br /> amazing job. I recently met her at the Prince Kuhio Ho'olaule'a the passion that drives <br /> her is amazing. I believe that change will happen, but if we can do it the right way it can <br /> be pono for all of us.
