Aloha Mai,
My name is Paulette Kaihilani Ke,born and raised in Ka'u. My father was born at Punalu'u
which truly makes this Aina my Piko. I would like to testify at the next hearing on May 6th in
regards to the Punalu'u Development of which I'm in favor of. I've never seen Punalu'u
looking so poorly as it currently looks. There's an overflow of tourists (far too many),very
little locals seen anymore, honus can't move about or lay their eggs privately as they've done
for eons. This is our Kuleana to manage everything about the mana of this Aina and to make
things pono. I support Eva and her team to fund the clean up, the updates of all the systems
(fire hydrants,piping, sewer,bathrooms), monitoring of beach and updating the pavilions.
