Please deny the Shoreline Management Area/SMA permit extension for Black Sands Beach
LLC at Punalu'u.
I grew up camping on the Ka'u coastline. I now return multiple times a year BECAUSE it is
so remote and peaceful. There are hundreds of other coastline resorts to experience. There is
not very much left of natural Hawaii. This area needs to be preserved.
People come here for the natural beauty but then just want to change it to convenient
mainstream. This is NOT what we want for Ka'u!
