To whom this may concern,
On behalf of Project Kolika, a 501c3 nonprofit focused on ocean conservation and research,
we do not support the development on Punalu'u Black Sand Beach. Punalu'u is home to the
Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle and a nesting ground for the critically endangered Hawaiian
Hawksbill Turtle. Development on these sacred lands will exploit Ka'u culture and destroy
fragile ecosystems.
We hope you'll make the right decision to protect Hawaii's wildlife and Hawaiian culture.
