Dear governing body of Hawaii,
Hello, my name is Ashini Patel. I am a US citizens and I am writing in opposition to the
development of a golf course or luxury short stay apartments in this area. I stand with
The Center for Biological Diversity as they filed a legal intervention opposing a proposed
resort development on one of Hawai`i's most renowned black sand beaches that would
harm local residents and jeopardize threatened and endangered species, including green
sea turtles and Hawaiian monk seals. I hope you are able to look beyond short term
financial benefits and understand the long term consequences of your decisions.
