Please DO NOT grant Black Sand Beach LLC an SMA permit for their development at Punalu'u&Wailau.
Please keep in mind the overuse,and constant encroachment,of Hawaii's limited natural reasources. Please keep in
mind the local community and their wants and needs,and put them above and before the desires of developers and
tourism. This is clearly an outside,for-profit development,that will provide minimum to negative benefit in all
aspects to the local community who use,need,and care for the area,and Hawai'i as a whole. Finally,please take
note of Black Sand Beach LLC's deceptive PR to start-a resort...under the guise of a"Wellness Center." For
who? Exactly,and that's just the application. Please put the local community and our natural resources first.
