To Whom it may concem,
My husband and I moved here in 2019,from the noisy,crowded city of Pittsburgh PA to Ocean View,specifically
BECAUSE of the quiet, serene,peaceful atmosphere and environment. This island is beautiful in its natural state, so
please leave it that way!
Ruining that peace and serenity by building a resort at Punalu'u,purely for GREED would totally negatively affect
not only the traffic and suburbs there,but also it would negatively affect our retirement. I personally would no
longer travel to Hilo through that area,and I am not a fan of the Kona area either because it's just too much!!
The turtles that swim to shore there are another reason we love it just the way it is. Building a resort would
completely min their natural environment. People move here specifically for the beauty,quiet and peace of
NATURE!!!
If you want more resorts,move them to Oahu and leave the Big Island alone! We have a very deep respect for the
aina,the Honu,and the culture and people of Hawaii.
Stop mining it!!! No RESORT is wanted at Punalu'u!!
