Dear Friends,
I am writing to implore you to consider scheduling a continuation of the
hearing in Black Sand Beach LLC Application PL-SMA-2023-000046.
As you must surely realize,this application is of great interest to
many residents of Ka'u in particular.Many who are interested and will
be impacted are working individuals and live in a very rural area. It is
not reasonable to expect they can attend a 9AM hearing in Hilo on a
weekday.In all likelihood many do not have sufficient intereet
connection to participate by Zoom.And they do not want to watch a
recording of the meeting,rather they want to PARTICIPATE in person.
Please,I urge you to extend the hearing to a Saturday time and date.It
is the only way to ensure that ALL stakeholders have a place at the table!!!
