My name is Jordain Kirk and I am a resident of Naalehu, HI.
I do not agree with the Planning Commission moving forward with a Special Management Area Use Permit(SMA)
based on a Draft Environmental Impact Statement(DEIS)from 2006. 1 stand with the people of Ka'u and demand
a new and relevant EIS along with an updated shore assessment and setback, a disaster mitigation plan and an
upgrade of the surrounding infrastructure that is deteriorating.
I stand with the community of Ka'u on the proposed Punalu'u project, and demand a current EIS and CDP
(Community Development Plan of Ka'u)that reflects the will of the people of Ka'u and its Native Hawaiian Cultural
Practitioners.
