Aloha I my name is Linda Halbritter. I oppose Bill 123. 1 am a Kupuna who has live in
Hawi for 45 years with my husband of 58 years. My husband is a disabled retired
police officer. Our TAR is our main income. I can't understand WHY you would want
to put us out of business. We have 3 employee's who need jobs. We pay all our
taxes, which is lots of money, which goes to the county. Our guest love staying here,
interacting with us and our community. They spend their money in our little town od
Hawi, at the restaurants, art galleries and tourist activities. Our helpers spend their
money here also, paying their rent. etc. If you pass this Bill 123 all that would be
gone. We use this income to pay our mortgage, lots of doctor bills, medical
insurance, etc.1 f the Bi11123 passes we would lose our business. And possibly our
home. Not to mention helpers would be out of a jobans most likely have to go on
welfare.
Please DO NOT PASS THIS BILL 123
